El Fuego Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

Skirt Steak – 1.5 lbs
Bell Peppers, Sliced – 2
Onion, Sliced – 1 large
Garlic, Minced – 3 cloves
Lime Juice – 2 tbsp
Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
My Sauce Lab El Fuego – 3 tbsp
Flour Tortillas – 8
Salt – to taste

Directions

  1. Marinate the steak in olive oil, lime juice, garlic, salt, and 2 tbsp El Fuego for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Sear the steak in a hot skillet or grill, 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Rest, then slice thin against the grain.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the peppers and onions until charred and softened, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Toss the sliced steak back in with the peppers and onions, add the remaining El Fuego, and stir to coat.
  5. Warm the tortillas and serve the steak and vegetables with your favorite toppings.
