Schezwan Potstickers with Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • Frozen or Fresh Potstickers – 24
  • Vegetable Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 1/2 cup
  • My Sauce Lab Schezwan – 3 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Rice Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Sesame Oil – 1 tsp
  • Honey – 1 tsp
  • Green Onion, Thinly Sliced – 1 stalk
  • Sesame Seeds – for garnish

Directions

  1. Whisk together the Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey to make the dipping sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Arrange the potstickers flat-side down and cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes until deeply golden on the bottom.
  4. Add the water and immediately cover. Steam for 6-7 minutes until the water evaporates and the wrappers are translucent.
  5. Uncover and cook 1-2 more minutes to re-crisp the bottoms.
  6. Stir the green onion into the dipping sauce, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve alongside the hot potstickers.
